Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ Cups of all purpose flour

  • ½ Teaspoon of Baking soda

  • 200g of room temperature butter

  • 1 Cup of brown sugar

  • ½ Cup of white sugar

  • ½ Teaspoon of salt

  • 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract

  • 2 eggs

  • 300g of chopped/chips dark chocolate

 

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180c with the pans in it

  2. Mix the flour, salt and baking soda in a (relatively) small bowl

  3. In a mixer bowl, mix the butter with sugar using a mixing pad in medium speed, at least for 3 minutes. every now and then scrape the butter from the sides.

  4. Add the eggs and vanilla, one at a time and mix.

  5. Set the mixer speed to low and change replace the mixing spoon with a kneading hook.

  6. Add the flour mixture and mix until unified

  7. Add the chocolate and mix using a spatula

 

Baking time!

  1. Using two spoons (or cookie scoops) place the mixture balls with 5cm apart of each other. (Personal advice, sprinkle some kosher salt on top)

  2. Bake of 7-9 minute, until the edges are golden brown.

  3. Cool down before moving the cookies as they are soft when taken out of the over

  4. Move to a cookie jar, keep in mind they are good for 1 week, so eat them quickly ;P
